During this holiday season many of our thoughts are focused upon giving, especially to those less fortunate than ourselves.  As you begin to do your shopping, please consider giving to a child here at the Mel Blount Youth Home.  Opening p our doors to emergency placement, we have young that our needs are far greater than we had originally anticipated.  Many young boys come to the Youth Home with only the clothes they are wearing.

Someone once told us that we are beacon shining in a very dark night.  Well, we would like to keep that beacon of light burning brightly.  We need you to help us do this.  Please share your good fortune by sending a gift.  We have given you some ideas below on the Mel Blount Youth Home wish list.  If you choose to send a monetary contribution, you may do so c/o The Mel Blount Youth Home, 6 Mel Blount Drive, Claysville, PA 15323.

We have set a goal this season to fill our warehouse with various items to help meet the needs we face daily here at the Youth Home.  We hope that your generosity will enable us to do so.  Please brighten a child’s day and make a wish come true.  Your acts of kindness will touch a child’s life and will make a difference.

Donations may be dropped off at the Mel Blount Youth Home Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
